I own three sonar 2340's.two of which have the audio board bypass one is original and untouched.there is a 2340 currently up for auction on eBay curiously the board has been completely deleted and replaced with what appears to be a small transformer does anybody know what this modification is and what the outcome of a modification such as this would be on the audio output of the radio? I wish I could forward this eBay auction to this post in order 4 people 2 look at the radio itself I just don't know how to do that.also it appears to be very clean as far as the exterior of the radio goes and oddly their strange build up of gunk that appears to have built up on the inside chassis of the radio does anybody recognize this gonky filmand if so what does it appear to be?
