Even thought my amp is still buzzing IT works snd besides the buzz which I hope to fix eventually I get great r reports while running it. Up until yesterday I was running thr amp with my sonar fs23. It's pushing 2 1/2 into the amp and it runs it nice. Yesterday I hooked up my uniden Madison which is a 5 watts into the amp. When I key up the Madison the amp seems to be straining and acting differently than running it with 2 1/2 as a posed to 5. When i key it with the 5 the first thing I notice was the fan slows down and the when I unkey it speeds back to normal. I did open it yesterday to try to fix a buzzing transformer. Is it possible I may hsve damaged the amd while trying to stop the buzzing or is five watts to much. I actually don't like driving 11 meter amps with any more than 3 watts. I've already packed the sonar away. So I can't compare.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
