I have been away from the mic for a long time.
The last time I used split,
it was on a Drake R4-B, T4
...............
with rigs from the modern era
(TS-930 and newer)

is it possible to go from.
rx.vfo A,,,,,tx.vfoA

to

rx,vfoA,,,,,tx.vfoB
and at the same time
move the vfo.B to a different frequency
while listening with vfo.a ??

also, need to be able to change
from split, to listen on tx frequency

also, since the is only one dial, need to
have 'vfo.b is made to be same as vfo.a'

life was a lot easier when there were two dials

Yes all the modern rigs will do this....most from the last 15 years or so....
Some of the higher end rigs like the FT-2000 actually have a separate independent receiver(dual watch)
All the Best

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
