2 yaesu ftm 7250 dr radios,mics on both are pure P.O.S.
I sent 1 mic back to yaesu,3 weeks later a new 1 arrived. Much better than original.but still locks up sloppy in radio.
I ordered 2 cheep chinese clone cords for $6 apiece and a $13.95 clone mic.i tried the clone out,was told sounds much better than oem mic.
Switched a cord on oem mic and it works better . All the clones fit in the mic socket very firm which is where trouble is.think i will order another clone mic. Another thing the key display is much brighter too.
Markings are identical and every button function is same as oem.
