I had the 300a's separate power supply placed right on top of the radio and the external meter on top of the power supply. I put the external meter on top of the radio and the 300a's power supply on top of the meter. Problem solved. The power supply was obviously causing some rfi. My bad.

LOL! Thanks crogan. I'm holding back on the questions concerning the trouble I'm having with the install of one of fasttracks channel kits. This one will have heads spontaneously imploding. Brains all over the place. I'll wait until after the holidays. Thanks
 
you should post this in the original problem thread. people subscribed to that thread might miss this one and still be trying to help you in the first one.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
