I've been looking at Cobra 148's & Uniden GRANT LT's . Just wondered which are the best.... Looking for a radio with sideband. Other add-ons....Trb-1 echo board,Variable DK, Super Modj,Expo channel kit & maybe a roger beep....Would I be better off starting off with an export radio????

I have owned both (148 and a grant xl) I liked them alot. Great audio from both. Also have owned a few exports. It probably depends on how much money you are willing to spend. There is alot of good radios on the market right now well worth the money. Hope you find the one you like.
