I have a Galaxy 44 that I use as a base unit and yesterday it did something strange. First of all let me tell yall that this radio is only 3 weeks out of the box and never been in a mobile to get shaken around. Yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine on high band and went to catch a landline and when I came back it would not transmit or receive. No channels on high bands would work, then I switched to low band and it worked fine on that so I went back to high band and it still would not do anything. I even turned it off and on but no high band, so I just turned it back off and came back afterwhile and it worked fine on high band, also did ok this AM. Has anyone out there ever heard of this problem before, it sort of has me wondering if I should contact Galaxy.

Thanks in advance

Sounds to me like a problem with the VCO not being adjusted correctly, or possibly a weak "rock".
