Things have gone downhill quickly. If I key 600 watts something in the kitchen area makes a loud bang, then 5 seconds after unkey it makes the bang again. Unfortunately I can't run upstairs fast enough. That's probably not good

It's my electric oven/stove that is making the noise. It doesn't do it if I kill the 240 breaker to it. What on earth would that be?
No way I'd run that kind of power with an attic dipole. I smoked the gfci on a hairdryer with a dipole and 12 watt cb in an apartment.
My guess to the question would be the stove and circuit it's on is resonant. If you're using the endfed it managed to find it's missing half.

Your getting RF feedback into your main panel! Plus the wiring.
That's most likely not the only circuit being affected
To my knowledge there really isn't a way to keep rf off of wiring being that wire makes a good antenna. If there is something I'm not aware of to change that, I'd be glad to hear it.
It turns out there is a locking solenoid on the oven door for the cleaning cycle, who knew? It only cycles it when tuning full power cw. Ssb doesn't seem to be an issue, so overall I'm pretty happy. I couldn't find any 12v 2a wallwarts, so I ordered some transformers to fix the router noise.
