I am trying to learn on my radio. I have a a 3 in 1 astatic power/SWR/Modulation meter. Im hearing that when it was bought the tune and align were done improperly. I am trying to get an idea on what exactly is involved in tuning the radio to get constant output on all channels. Also the modulation seems to be weak.. i get about 30-40% modulation and the meter on the radio doesnt swing very much. I can still talk and people hear me but a friend has the same radio and it swings WAY more and also has a bit more power then mine. Any help would be great. Also im out in hawaii so its hard to find parts to do mods with.
