I have a K40 antenna hooked to a Uniden PC76. In just overnight I went from a 1:1.5 to 3.5. I checked to see if there was anything loose. There wasn't so then I scraped and sanded my mirror bar. changed it none. Any ideas to do will help me greatly.

just a thought did you get any rain over night ? i have seen some of the coils fill with water from long time in the sun i guess it brakes the seals not sure if yours has the 2 piece pl259? seen them work loose let us know what you come up with may just need a better ground system?
