just got me a texas ranger tr-966 anyone else use it seems like a good radio the thing screams on AM and SSB nice radio what do you all think?
 

they are nice !! nice ssb rigs easy to tune !! in the hands of the right person they do 30 to 35 watts peak

The radio looks alot like the old side mic Cobra 148 but I would like to know what is the number on the PLL chip. If it is a 8719 it'll be a winner.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
