Texas Star DX 500V Conversion?

Hi guys ole 577 here..been a while.
Anyhow I have a brand new TS 500V with non red dot shibas here.
Really nice amp,i did the conversion following the CBT instructions to a Tee and the amp will not key from radio RF.If I short the emitter of the keying tranny to ground the relay keys and amp works perfect.
Did anybody ever run into this problem,Im hoping its just a glitch in the directions(missing step ect..) and not a blown trace on the bottom of the board or bad component somewhere?
any help sure would be greatly appreciated.

We got her figured out,had the 33 puff going to ground instead of RF in. Bonehead
