So, does anyone know the actual operating bandspread of these mobile amps?
Are they only capable of operating 11/10 meters, or can they be used on lower freqs? I mean, will they work down to 20 meters, or 40 meters even?

If this amp has good input return-loss and proper gain vs. current draw to operate properly at lower frequencies, I think not many hams would use this amp on ham bands.
The reason is that biasing on these amps are unregulated, meaning that on modulation peaks, the bias current reduces. (splatter?)
The other reason is that harmonic radiation is likely, due to the amp having same gain at harmonic frequencies up to 10 meters.
I dont think any mobile antenna could handle this much power.
And SSB delay probably be an un-necessary annoyance.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
