Texas Star DX500V how much drive?

" I talked to a friend.. ..nice and clear with no clipping."

That is a good signal report.

I run a TS 500V in my truck all the time.
I am happy with around 330 to 350 watts and it has lived a nice long life.
Forget the number on the front of the amp and run it where it sounds good.
Yes you can drive it harder and get more out of it but I doubt anyone on the other end will ever notice it.

Forget watt meter numbers and as long as it sounds good run it.
It will live a nice long life.
Have fun playing radio.
My 2 cents worth.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
