Over the past week -- June 16-22 -- the average daily sunspot number rose nearly 20 points to 55, while the average daily solar flux readings increased by nearly 9 points to 98.6. All geomagnetic indices declined slightly. These increases or decreases are relative to the previous seven days before June 16. Sunspot numbers for June 16-22 were 62, 65, 67, 47, 43, 57 and 44, with a mean of 55. The...

Well we are currently in solar cycle 24..

However...it seems solar cycle 25 will be very different and far lower then we are typically used to..

That little ice age we had about 250 years ago was due to a very low sun spot cycle like the one cycle 25 will be..

We will or could be spared another mini ice age ( jury is out still on this ) due to the present state of global warming ( not present 250 yrs ago ) although we may yet again be entering soon into a mini ( or larger ) ice age
