I was looking at this 857 of yours because I really like the 857D my wife runs and was thinking about getting another one. This straight 857 you have is the only difference that the DSP the D model sports is not there?

The 857 has dsp, the diff. is no high stability crystal and no 60m band.....but since it is mars modded it really does cover 60m.
