Tram antenna

Hello guys, I have a tram open coil cb antenna . I looked everywhere and can’t find a replacement whip. Would a Wilson or any other brand work? The whip is short and it’s just under the set screw to get a decent swr. Thanks

Just find a whip that’s the same length or longer and the same base diameter. All that matters here is that it fits the top of the antenna, and is the right length.

It you’ve lost the original you can find the length with a piece of wire or coat hanger...and a meter.
