Turner jm+2u, just picked up one off these lovely old michrophones for use with my cobra 148gtl dx / Hygain 2795dx anyone here used this particular turner hand michrophone ?? have read off some nice reports on there use just be great to here some more user reports on them. had a quick look on eham.net for user reviews on this old michrophone but as yet nothing found ??

tried to get an Astatic 575m6 but as yet nothing found for sale here in the uk, will keep on looking !!!

The Turner +2 mic goes a long way back,I havent seen one in years but back in the day they were great mics,as long as it is in good shape you have a winner !!

They were really good mics and had a great sound to them...either of those radios should handle that mic very well

Yeah I used to have one also back in the mid 70's or 80's sometime. Worked well. I believe that's a teal blue one right? I recall it did a good job for me. All Turner's are good mics. They have different specs/applications by model. All worked very well for the respective impedance and other matchups-by-radio.

Good luck!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
