I have an old jc penny 40 channel radio and would like to tune

it up. Does any body have the spec sheet or somewhere like

a web address to find out how to tune it up.

any help would be great,thankx in advance

I might have something laying aroound my shack. First off what is the JC Penny model. Second, is it a crystal radio or does it have a PLL. If it does have the PLL, .What is the PLL chip No. on the IC for instance. SM5104 or TC9109P etc etc.... 73's

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
