Good luck with the hook up. I've always heard that the +2's are designed to sound best on sideband and don't sound all that good on AM. Same is mostly true of the Super Sidekick. They sound better on SSB rather than AM on most radios. The Plus 3's and Plus 3B's sound good on either mode.
