hi, just wondering if anyone could help with a dodgy mic.
put a new battery in mic, keyed up, speech fine but tails off into silence over about 5 seconds. battery works fine in other mics,so is not flat,
i presume its component failure,but have no clues,can any one help?cheers and merry xmas to all !!
 

a leaky cap maybe ? Hmmm I've had many of the older Turners over the years and never personally had this problem you speak of ? Well Crusader ,they still sell alot of them on Ebay for fairly cheap if they mean that much to you ? If there's away you can somehow check the parts on the mic's board maybe you might come up with something there ? IM sorry I couldn't help you out much more then that. Much luck to you there.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
