U.S.M.C Antenna Handbook

Hey, thanks for that most excellent link - FreonCowboy!
This info is like a slimmed-down version of the ARRL Antenna book with the approval of a past Commandant of the USMC!

Too Cool!
Thanks again!

I was going to say that this manual is certainly more 'user friendly' than the one it replaced. But it didn't really replace anything, it is an addition to a long list of earlier electronics manuals, some of which are no longer available, unfortunately (at least without a huge amount of 'digging').
Something any reader should remember is that this deals with 'tactical' expediences, meaning stuff you might do in the field, and with specific equipment. That doesn't mean that you can't 'translate' it for use with other type radios, but it does require that 'translation', sort of. (Running out and finding a surplus 'DMC-152' antenna to use on CB band, or ham bands, just isn't going to work without a -lot- of modifications :). That sort of thing.)
Lots of 'neat' stuff in there!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
