I have been given a Grant XL and the thing is dead right now.
I hooked it up and it was blowing fuses (I did not hook it up backwards). I also did not put in a killer fuse.
I opened it up an noticed that D55 was already cut and never replaced. So I am going to assume that the person that had it before me hooked it up backwards with the diode already cut.
Anyone have any ideas where to look next?
I can tell you that I do not have short in the CB untill I turn it on. I checked the resistance on the power port in the back (one lead on + and one on -) and I only get a dead short when I switch it on.
OR does anyone have an idea where I can get a readable diagram for it? I looked online but they are so low quality.
Thanks for any help in advance!!!
