Uniden PC68LTW questions.

Does any one have any alignment (tune-up) information for this radio? A schematic would be nice. Google comes up blank. I'd like to up the modulation (a little) and see if I can get more that 2.8 watts from the final. Thanks for any help.

its the same as the 25LTD from cobra.

go to cbtricks.com in the radios section and you will find the service manual or at least some schematics.

the pots and the tuning coils will be the same numbers, but resistors and capacitors might have a different part number on them in the 68 as opposed to the 25.
the chassis are pretty much identical, just labeled differently.


should be lots of info out there on the net for this radio.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
