Anyone have an old Uniden Pro710e base station laying around in a parts bin? I dug out an old one this afternoon that was complete except for a Channel knob. It had been in a parts bin but nothing had been robbed from it.

When I picked it up I just happened to glance upon a burnt resistor and after replacing that resistor and the 10uf electrolytic tied to it the radio came back to life.

It's up and running again and strong as ever. The only problem is the meter is not functioning and I am missing the original channel selector knob. I was hoping that someone on here might have an old radio that they could rob some parts from.

I'd be willing to pay for the two parts and cover the shipping costs. Thanks.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
