got this radio cause i heard good reports about it and it was cheap. i turned it on and was instantly disappointed. the receive the reviews said was good is actually garbage. it sounds muffled unless i turn the clarifier one way or the other. is there anythig that can be done in the am circuit to make it better. sounds real nice on ssb. sound is greatly improved with an external speaker but it squeals bad when i key up no matter where the speaker is. if i can figure this out i would keep it. if not its for sale..any thoughts?
