Can anyone tell me what brand of antenna I have here? I also need the setup manual for it. It looks similar to Maco V5/8 but it has an aluminum stub instead of the wire for the matching device. It also does not have the ground plane radials. The loop is 11" in diameter. I have tried to use the manual for the V5/8 anyway to get my length in the ball park. I am using a MFJ-207 antenna analyzer and the closest I can get is 24.108 MHz. My desired frequency is 28.305. If I had the correct information on this antenna I believe I could get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the link to the antenna photos.

Model is a CushCraft AR-10

If you have Adobe Acrobat reader, you can view the Manual Here

CushCraft AR-10 Manual_____click here

Total length of the vertical Element measured from were the Matching ring connects to the Flat pc that is attached to the vertical should be 200" for 28.000 to 28.800 Center Freq, 28.400

192" should yield 28.400 to 29.200, center freq at 28.800.

hope this helps, if not, let me know.

Can I get some of that "scrap" tower that the antenna is laying on? With the antenna on the ground like that, I don't think you need all that tower...heheh

"Coax matching stub"...sounds like a gamma match made from coax to me. Give us a picture or a description of how that's made if you want...
