A friend brought one over and is thinking of buying it from one of his co-workers.

It's in fair condition on the outside a few scratches and the faceplate label is starting to peel in a few spots, but inside it looks sound and untouched except for someone replacing the ext speaker jack with a hard wired external speaker (the jack broke or something). The meter light is out and the channel readout has some burned out segments.

What should he offer for it? I've seen them new around $150-$160. I figured around $50-$75.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
