:roll: Am blind and need to know if anyone makes an external 'Voice Synthesizer' that will work on a RCI 2995DX. Sure would be great if I could find one that will let me know where I am on frequency...tend to get lost at times...ha, ha, ha!!
 

it is damn impressive that a blind person could find this forum and make a post like this.

There is a product out there that does this, but for ham radios. The Icom 706mkiig is a supported radio that comes to mind. I believe it uses the CI-V interface to make it work. I'm not sure if you want to spend that kind of cash, but if so I can look the information up for you.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
