The letters in blue sc-m, Emg &sps , dw how do you enable them ? I know that if i long press emg it takes the ht to 446.000 or something and does an emergency beacon in cw. Also when your in the menu and press F/W it adds a star symbol to the menu not sure what that is about ? Maybe someone with experience can answer ? It was a break through learning the fpp and aprs etc. The manual is really boring and if i could get a pdf versian i could use ctrl+f to find the answers.

The functions in Blue are activated by pressing and holding the keys. SC-M is for Scan Mode, SPS is "Special Search" mode, and EMG is the Emergency function. I don't really remember what hitting the FW does while in a menu? When you figure it out, remind me...
