W2IHY iPlus Review

This is a video review of the W2IHY iPlus, which is a really well designed interface to allow you to attach one mic or audio stack to multiple rigs. W2IHY sent this to me at no cost to review, but after using it for a while, I love it! A quick clarification that I will probably add into this video. The iPlus is a passive device, and won't supply power to a mic. If you're using a rig that requires a standard dynamic mic, you can hook up a dynamic mic directly to the iPlus. If the rig uses an something like an electret condenser mic and supplies power to the mic, you can't just hook a mic up to the iPlus and expect it to work properly. In some cases, it might not work at all.

The iPlus is really intended to be used as a switch for either the other W2IHY gear or rack gear.

Contrary to the post above the EqPLUS DOES SUPPLY VOLTAGE TO THE MIKE THROUGH A SITCH ON THE FRONT .
and yes i have been using one since 7 years,
