What can I get for under $150.00

Hey all,

New to the cb world ,,, what's a decent set-up as far as cb,,,mic,,,antenna,,, speaker! for around $150.00 if any, It's just basically to yack at other short range trucker's and detour info and wrecks and such! TIA FLYANA

I too like the uniden radio.. I had a pc76 that had alot of swing to it! If you are in a Four wheeler (car) then a wilson Lil Willy As for Microphone I like the Astatic Line either the 636 or 575... Both are excellent and reasonably priced too! Might be a little more than the 150 though but not by much. check with One Stop Electronics they are a great group to deal with!





And Welcome to the forum. Best place to get alot of answers to alot of Questions!

I went onto One Stops Site and selected a Pc68xl w/ a prewired Astatic 636 mic and the lil willy Antenna total before Shipping..145.97 You can get a link to them @ the top of the Forum.

Well you can get pc68ltw for around $80.00 or a pc78ltw about a $100.00, they both have the weather on them, also you can pickup a dm 452 echo mike for about $25. You can have a echo board installed but I dont know how much it would run.



So with a pc68ltw and a dm 452 mike you would have about a $105.00 plus shipping. Sounds like you already have a good antenna. I dont know what kind of effect it will have behind the farring, I would think it would be better mounted on the mirror.



I drive a ford areo max with the tall farring and I mounted the antenna on the mirror with a quick release. Maybe someone else can chime in with something better. Under $150

I have seen a Uniden on one of the dealers on the web brand new for under $ 90 . Don't go to Ebay . If you don"t buy from a dealer or a friend buy from the forum here . A complete setup can be done ; but your cutting it close . <gotproof>
