I think they're expensive!! <img src=http://users.joplin.com/dutch64804/wow.gif ALT=":wow"> Do you have digital systems in your area? (usually police, highway patrol, if at all) If not, you might want to wait on buying a digital scanner. The price has got to come down on those things.

I have two of these units, believe it or not. I bought one for my home and loved it so much I bought another one for my truck. Paid about $500 for each of them. This is one hell of a scanner! It is great! I think they are worth the money you pay.
