what went wrong?

I have a grant lt and did the following:



1. Replace R126 (10k) with a 4.7k.

2. Replace R124 (10k) with a 4.7k

3. Re-tune coils L37 and L38 for maximum forward swing on AM mode.

MODULATION: Remove R131

AM POWER: VR10

SSB POWER: VR11

I only get 13 peak on my digital aries 460.

The L37 coil doesn't change my swing at all.

HELP!

Try 2.2K resistors for the ones you changed. Remove TR 24. Careful you may overmodulate.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
