where to start i did a side job for a guy after it was done he gave me the story he only had some money and a Cobra 2000 for my labor
i really don't need another 2000 i have 2 already anyway as always radio is in need of work.
radio was very dirty on the outside some simple green and elbow grease. missing top metal cover mod meter stuck am light is out and the receive light is out. now for the bad, the radio receives fine when you key it shows 2 watts dead key but no modulation on am or sideband. the speaker switch has been hack used for extra channels the mic jack was hacked with a 4-pin jack and the housing for the jack is cracked frequency counter works fine and has original 1306 driver 1969 final
tr 24-tr26 is gone r131 to the terminal for the swr pot wires are missing the same as the wires for the headphone jack and ac/dc jack needs to be rewired when switching to dc with no connection radio is still on
anyway I'm putting this here if anybody wants to tinker or as a partial working radio I'm only looking for my labor money back

took xtra channels off put the radio back on frequency re-tune power found an original mike and headphone jack does anybody know the meter bulbs are they 3mm or 4mm ??

well radio is almost finished only missing 4 meter bulbs and the top metal cover
she not, a 10 but a 5 or 6 receives good output is good
