Who makes the good Cobra 148 GTL?

I have a Taiwan made 148 that was bought brand new in 1985. Still have the original white power plug and stock coffin mic and mount for it as well. Still works great after all these years.

Mine too, perfect working order, I've contemplated recapping, wouldn't bat an eye at that any other time with something so old, but it almost seems wrong to touch it. It sits for now.

This thread is a real trip down memory lane. So many members who were active when this thread started(2011), but never hear from them these days. LowBoy, Psycho, Jazzsinger, Toll_Free, TonyV225, Switchkit, and others. I miss them all.
