Will talk back work on 2990

I wanted to know if you can add an echo mic with talk back to a ranger 2990, I was told the talk back wont work,
then how do u tune the echo?
Please clue me in,

if it has DX after the model number remove D76.
if it does NOT have DX after the model number remove D78.

you will then have talk back.

oh by the way you sounded muffled last night. not sure what it was. off freq or maybe you had it on FM or one of the sidebands. of course then again there were alot of the retards on at the time. PM me your number again or send me a PM and tell me what time and channel to be on and well see how she sounds. away from the retards.

i thought they were the same minus the echo. and surface mount board in the 2995dx.
