O.k. I have a stupid little question here maybe some one can help me on. I have got an old SCP SC-2000w swr/watt meter hooked up to my Magnum S-45. My question is "can I use that meter to roughly check the swr on the 2 meter band". Thanks

Quick answer is probably not. If you take the 'normal' precautions though, you could try it and see. Those 'normal' precautions include low power and a dummy load.

O.K. better not try then. This particular meter uses a toroid transformer to obtain its readings. Now I have been told that you could use that particular setup on the vhf band with minimal disruption, of course using a low power rating. I don't; know better not to try then try and be without a meter.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
