Wire bud headset for VX-8R

I bought a CT-131 adapter to convert the 7pin plug to a 3.5mm phono plug so I can get a wire bud headset.

Which wire bud headset will work with the CT-131? I found two:

  • VC-27
  • MH-37A4B
They seem identical but only work with a subset of yaesu HT's...

Anyone know the right one for the VX-8R with a CT-131?

I think the VC-27 is the one that you want, although I'm not 100% positive. When you find out for certain, can you let us know?

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
