That filter is not meant for CB or amateur radio. It is meant for use with low power FM transmitters operating in the FM broadcast band. It offers absolutely zero attenuation to the second, third, and fourth harmonics of a CB radio. The term "low pass filter" is relative. When designed for FM transmitters it is a low pass filter that rejects harmonics in the television VHF-Hi band and the UHF band as well as other radio services in the UHF bands.
Or a Barker & Williamson Model FL-10/1500. Minimum attenuation of 70 dB and maximum attenuation is at 52-54 MHz. Handles 1500 watts all day long. I have used one for a couple decades now.
Exactly. And it also shows zero attenuation at 54, 81, and 108 MHz as well which is the second, third, and fourth harmonics of the CB band. It also says right in the instruction manual that it is for use with FM broadcast band transmitters.
