Think you can buy the same radio on ebay for about 85 and do any and all mods yourself ...Sort of a gimick radio .. does nothing very well..a used 25 dollar cobra 25 or 29 will talk it under the table ..For 140 bucks I'll take a very nice used radio instead ..

Nothing like talking on a peaked handheld with extra channels! ROTFLMAO!
$45 for the peak/tune and the extra channels??????

As far as handhelds go that looks to be a decent radio. Channels are not necesary unless it had SSB in my opinion. Only problem with a higher output is you drain the battery faster. Obviously a Cobra 25/29 would be better and cheaper but for those is need of a handheld there you go.
