Anybody here know what the difference is between the 757GX and 757SX? I am aware of the GX and GXII models but never heard of the SX.

thanks!

Hey Wayne, found this on the web....

Quote:
The FT-757SX and FT-757SX/II is the low-power version

of the GX model. Runs 10 watts as I recall ... which is the

legal limit for JA 3rd and 4th class hams. Most of the JA

manufacturers have models with a similar designation which

they then do NOT export.

I will look around and see if I find any more info, but it looks like a "Export" model for Japan.

Another bit of info.....

Quote:
Thanks for reading. I have an opportunity to purchase a FT-757 SX and want

to know what it is worth. It is not mint....but in good condx with a few

scratches. Electronically sound. Comes with the manual and a microphone.

This is the Japanese 10 watt version of the well known FT-757.

Comments?? What is it worth? Not to many of these around!!!
