YAESU FT 1802-E Narrow/Wide FM problem

Hi All,
I need some help. I have recently bought a Yaesu FT1802-E and I think I may have a problem with it. I can set it up for repeaters no problem and everything seems to work 100% until I try and engage Narrow FM on menu 59(W/N DV). If the repeater is local I can still here it but with no signal at all and any a bit further away I get nothing although on wise i hear then no problem.. Is it a setting I am missing or have I got a problem with the radio? Any help would be great.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
