Well I picked it up today and WOW what a rig Really cool radio I didnt get the book they couldnt find it but Ill figure something out. Anyways so far the recieve is pretty nice and it has alot of bells and whistles to get used to. All in all Im a happy camper :)
 

This thing is amazing. I cant believe how much better (most) of these bases are than the mobiles in these Hf rigs. But then again look at the price differences. Id buy another of these. The 2 of the best investments I made were this Yaesu FT-990 and The Kenwood TS-50 with the matching AT-50 tuner I bought.
 
Tony, i emailed you the manual, let me know if it came through it may be to big of a file
