Yaesu FT2800 no power output

Hi fella Ham anybody got some idea what when wrong with my rig FT2800
there is no out put power 0 .RX is ok . Could there be minor lines on the board broken or my Final is gone kaput. How to check? The heat sink feel hot if i thrigger high power for few min. TQ

A guess?
If you see no power out on a meter; then it could be the driver. If there is a little power out; then I would suspect the final. That has been my experience. I'm not familiar with this radio or its particular failure points, but what I said is typical for most radio outputs...Maybe there is a particular failure point for this radio...Dunno...
 
Take the final out and do a diode test on the multimeter to start with. That would be a quick n' dirty test to see if you have a problem.
