Well,
I did the MARS/CAP solder mod on the Yaesu FT 897D a few hours ago. Went pretty smooth. Now, I guess I'll need a high quality mic to go with it. I already have a Turner Plus3, can it be wired for the Yaesu? If so, will the quality still be there? Would Heil be the next choice? Heard there the best.
