Don't know what the "No Mycs" on the display meant, but found the trouble.
The coax cable has a short, dead short, 0 ohms, which I did not suspect because I still had voice communication with a repeater 30 miles away. It is working now. I connected my meter up and the SWR on voice was normal and the SWR on the APRS was off the scale.
Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
