Hello group,

I am considering buying a VL-1000.
As I have stated before I like to keep in touch with
my friends on the 11 meter band. I am wondering if
anyone out there knows about using the VL-1000
on the 11 meter band. I have done a tremendous
amount of research. The USA version supposedly
operates on 160-15 meters and 6 meters. I wonder
if there is any information out there on a modification
to add all bands like the export version. Thank you in
advance. and 73's to all.

Simply show the dealer a copy of your ham license and he will provide you with the info required to mod it. You do have a license don't you? That's one he!! of a price tag for an 11m amp if you don't.:scared: If you are buying used chances are the ham before you already did the mod.

Hello group,

I finally found a few sources of that mod.
Thank you Captain Kilowatt for the wise words.
The VL-1000 would indeed be an expensive
11 meter Amp.
I do have a License, I simply am very careful
about the information I make available on the
Internet. The Internet is worse than being in court
everything you say and do can be used against
you, I recommend the same for all Internet users.

These are the sites I checked. 73's to all.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
