Yaesu VX-6 "sticky" turning knob

My VX-6 is a very good radio but it as a very little but annoying issue. The lower knob on the top panel is in the beginning hard to rotate and sometimes gets sticky and is difficult to obtain an accurate movement but after few minutes of use the knob turns flawlessly
I think may be some kind of seal that after a little warming works better.
Anyone has this issue?
 

I no longer own this radio, but I don't remember having that particular issue. You might try opening it up and see if there is some junk that has accumulated around the encoder.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
