After TX-extension is the 4m band unfortunately only on WFM possible!:headbang
I have a TX-extansion in the range 120 - 135 Mhz TX does but I would also like to mention 80 - 89 Mhz in NFM received.
Who knows about it and is familiar from so?

80-89Mhz is just below the typical U.S. FM broadcast band. My VX-8 only RX in WFM mode there. I'm not 100% sure if it was that way before expansion, but I'm pretty sure that it was.

Probably you done diffferent mods.
Hardware mod doesn't modify 4m (70MHz... not 80-89) modulation type (NFM-WFM).
Software mod forces to WFM....

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
